Our team was honored to bring the vision of Ascoli Espresso to life, executing the full tenant improvement renovation of the 1,200-square-foot interior space. This comprehensive project celebrated the charm of Ascoli Piceno, Italy—the namesake for the coffee shop—while tailoring every design element to reflect the client’s desired aesthetic.
Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural and architectural tapestry of Ascoli Piceno, we designed the shop’s signage and graphics to evoke a sense of refined Italian elegance. The color palette—selected in close collaboration with the client—features warm neutrals and soft earth tones. These colors echo the historic piazzas and stone buildings of the city, tying the graphic elements directly to its Italian roots.
The custom signage is a blend of clean modern typography and subtle nods to old-world charm, providing a perfect introduction to the brand’s identity. Key graphic elements were thoughtfully incorporated into menus, merchandise, and packaging, creating an easy selection experience for customers.
The tenant improvement renovation extended this attention to detail throughout the space, with earthy wood, thoughtful lighting, and inviting finishes. Every detail, from the signage to the mural to the branded merchandise, reinforces the café’s connection to Italy and it’s home of Salt Lake City.
